Turning everyday encounters into tragic love stories requires artist Rella’s ability to fictionalize. Her recent single “Heavenly Bodies” is a beautiful ballad that shows Rella has range.

Since her debut single “Intervention” in 2019 rising starlet Rella is prone to push her boundaries. She continues to blend genres eloquently, sprinkling in pop-punk elements in songs like “Maryland” while writing her emotional ballads similar to her recent single. Rella shares that not all songs stem from personal experience and she loves that music gives her the ability to create a fantasy.

“Heavenly Bodies” begins with an elegant guitar strand. Rella’s ethereal voice chimes in before the chorus picks up to a catchy and youthful melody. The track is minimally produced, sounding incredibly authentic and more personal. Rella discusses the addictive nature of relationships, singing, “In the gravity of your heavenly body, I’ve got a fixation”.

Rella is just getting started and “Heavenly Bodies” proves that. Her unique and fresh perspective on relationships, easy and difficult, allows her to stand out in a sea of many.
