“Summer” is a collaborative effort by Martin, featuring Rella. The two met in a Zoom songwriting workshop hosted by Quadio, where Martin showed the song and Rella decided to add a verse. They worked on the song remotely, and Martin traveled to Nashville to shoot a music video for the song in locations like the Pedestrian Bridge in Downtown Nashville, Rella’s hometown, and Fall Creek Falls.
